I was born in a hurricane but moved to the mountains before I could walk. I was raised in a house full of cats, books, and southern hospitality. I spent my college years studying royalty and signing the praises of sisterhood. I met the love of my life, Peter, while attending grad school in the land of the longhorn and decided to stick around. We married in October 2011 and are the proud parents of 3 fat cats, Bruce Wayne, Clark Kent, and JackJack, and 1 tiny daschund, Petunia Jean. I work in fund raising, and he is an ER nurse.
When not blogging you can find me volunteering, working on my embroidery, making delicious treats with my kitchen aid mixer, and reading.
I started this blog because I love fashion and combining trendy and classic pieces on a budget. I have a serious Target problem and love a good thrift store. I'm excited to share my style adventures!
